Building the Infrastructure Behind Apprenticeship Success

Apprentis is a system designed to help young people not just access opportunities but be fully prepared to succeed in them.

We focus on what most platforms miss: readiness.
Because opportunity without readiness leads to wasted potential.
Purpose

Our Mission & Vision

Driving our work every day to create lasting change in apprenticeship access.

Our Mission

To build the infrastructure that prepares young people to successfully access and secure apprenticeships, combining guidance, systems, and data-driven support at every stage of the journey.

Our Vision

A world where every young person has equal access to apprenticeship opportunities, where the path from education to meaningful employment is clear, and where apprenticeships are recognised as a first-choice career pathway alongside traditional university routes.

  • Apprenticeships valued equally to university degrees
  • Every school equipped with apprenticeship resources
  • Zero barriers between talent and opportunity

Recognition

Diversity Champion at the Black Tech Achievement Awards 2026

In 2026, Apprentis founder Iyioluwa Adesan was named Diversity Champion at the Black Tech Achievement Awards (BTA Awards), recognising the work being done to fix a critical gap in early careers: readiness.

Apprentis was built on a clear belief: opportunity without readiness leads to wasted potential. So we didn't create content. We built infrastructure.

In one year, that system reached 10,000+ young people, directly supported 3,000+, and led to 300+ confirmed apprenticeship placements, with 79% at degree level, across 92 employers and 10 sectors.

This was built with zero public funding, no blueprint, and no precedent. Just a clear understanding of what was broken, and the discipline to build what was missing.

The recognition matters, but the outcome matters more: a system that works, and a foundation to scale it further across the UK, the US, and Africa.
